Property was incredibly beautiful and fabulous, we appreciated this place.

It had outstanding food! The service was first-class, we had an above average breakfast.

Location adjacent to all the restaurants, the shops on Michigan, and a very nice mall. Inviting and perfect rooms with separate bathrooms.

The breakfast was above average and nice hot, it had amazing meals. I got recently renovated room with a view.

No complains at all, greatly enjoyed my memorable stay and would absolutely stay here again. Everything there was spotless and the staff were good. Comforts of a double room were fabulous - a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a personal safe. Grand subway station can be reached within 10 minutes walk.

The room was perfect and impressive, with with 2 baths, a private master bedroom plus a private balcony. The breakfast was hot and delicious, the check in was efficient. The hotel offered a bar in the lobby.

Above average and nice hot breakfast, with lots of food. Modern rooms with a view, and magnificent location.

The location is great and awesome with private parking available on site.

I recently stayed at a luxurious hotel in a prime location. The staff at this place really went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The Art Deco decor was stunning, giving the hotel a swanky vibe. It's evident that this hotel was renovated only a year ago, as everything looked modern and well-maintained. The check-in desk, concierge staff, and doormen were all friendly and helpful. They were always there to assist with any requests or questions I had. The hotel's fitness room even had two Peloton bikes, making my workout much more fun than usual. And the location couldn't have been better - it was conveniently connected to an indoor shopping mall, allowing easy access to the famous Michigan Ave.

I can't think of any negative aspects to this hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

1) Can't make a cup of of coffee in the room 2) Breakfast is a bit expensive 3) house keeping kept bothering me for few hours before I checked out. They need to learn to bug the guest until he/she leaves the room

The service was first-class with parking onsite. Very amiable staff, everything was perfect.

The recently upgraded hotel has beautiful decor, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a fabulous location. The staff is mostly polite and accommodating, and the hotel offers a connected shopping mall for convenience.

Proximity to the river and the Magnificent Mile.

The only negative was that I was travelling with my brother and his girlfriend and they had a great room on the 15th floor and I was on the 9th floor. Being on the same floor would have been nice.

The night manager Ron was terrific. I had booked thru Booked.net and I booked s king bed room. I then requested Booked.net to modify and get a double bed deluxe room. Booked.net charged me extra only to find out when I arrived that it was not requested. I was deceived by Booked.net because they charged me extra but when I arrived, the hotel was giving me a king bed. Ron, the night manager found a way to give me the room that I wanted.

I got great value for my money at The Gwen, with a spacious and comfortable room that had a nice view of Michigan Ave. The hotel's location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could make the breakfast menu better would be a wider variety of options.

The proximity to the Magnificent Mile and the marathon course!
